we got a nathan back.

We finally are truly under way with recording this record. I know, we've said that approximately 14 times, but this time it's real. Got some good rhythm tracks and most of our gear is actually working (knock on wood). It helps that we're borrowing most of the nice stuff, of course (thanks, Dustin). But we aim to please, and in time, we will make your ears happy with new sounds.

Nathan's in Spain, we're all envious. Alán and I have been staying up far too late for the last few nights recording and dubbing out. (courtesy of Moog music and Musicmakers) For the record, everyone needs one of these; you'll never be lonely again.

For any old old tacks fans, we are working on reviving Cursed Machinery into something far more psychedelic than whenever we used to perform it. It's a good feeling when a song begins to take shape, even if that shape happens to be quite obscure.

We've gotten to see some good music of late, too. Radiohead and Return to Forever within two weeks of each other. Quite inspiring, on both counts.

I guess I should get back to work. Love from Tacksville.

we just spent two days recording some new music, with which we are very pleased.  it's a slow process, but we do hope to have a record completed for you by 2014.  

in the meantime, enjoy life and don't let the bedbugs bite.
